Late Arrival Policy
Traffic, parking, late hours at the office, we get it – however if you show up late to your appointment, we will only be able to work with you during the time you scheduled. That includes any intake information that needs to be discussed. We will do our best to give you as much time as possible. You will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled appointment.
Arrival to Your Bodywork Treatment
Please arrive for your appointment no more than 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. Clients are provided a code to call at the door in confirmation email or text message. If you arrive earlier than 10 minutes, you may be asked to wait as we complete tasks between clients.
Prior to each bodywork session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. Prior to your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients whom we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.
Existing and New Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued.
The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies, please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of and agrees to the desired treatment.
